A little update here. It is 38 days until my Rifle Bull Elk hunt, and it is time to prep NOW! So most likely I won't be updating or posting much for the next month or so, but if I am successful, I'll show some Rocky Mountain Scenery in the future!

How did you paint the raised relief lines in the valve covers so well? The space between each line looks too narrow to mask off. Just curious.

I used a foam roller brush, sprayed the foam with the engine spray paint, and used light pressure to prevent the paint from flowing out of the foam too heavily. The little runs I got I used the satin black and sprayed it onto a small brush. hope that makes sense.

I've finally got back to working on the truck, here I've installed the new firewall pad and rebuilt pedal assembly.

And here is the painless wiring kit starting to be installed. I figured I'd better wire it before installing the steering assembly.

Oh yes, the long and tedious process of wiring up a vehicle, it's all about patience. What did you think of the fitment and quality of the firewall insulating pad?

So far so good, need a second hand to install the heater core, so I'll no more in about a week. Things line up "close" but not always perfectly.

Wiring with the factory harness was pretty easy. :)

Got the steering shafts all rebuilt and installed, heater box is in, and routed the heater control cables, which was a bit of a bitch at times.

Question? Is there a better way to attach photos? I have been using Photobucket but it can be a bit of a bear at times. I see others attaching really detailed, large, and nice photos that do not rely on photobucket. How are you lads doing that?

Ok...got the new painless wiring harness routed (relatively), firewall pad is installed, and have wired up most of the switches. I got the new inner fenders laid out and am giving them a heavy coat of heavy rust resistant Eastwood Paint. Ordered the new seals to install the inner fenders, and a new Champion 3 row aluminum radiator is on the way. No pics as the wiring is kinda lame to try and look at....

Your trucks coming right along looks real good. That motor is sweet! It's going to pop right out of the engine bay when it's in there!
