Clay, I have this exact problem. I looked on NPD, couldn't find the kit. Someone posted a link to a company that makes new switches, any idea who they were? Remembering to cancel the signal gets old fast (especially when the arm droops by itself when you hit holes in the road).AlleyCat wrote:The broken part of the turn signal switch is what cancels ( turns off) the signal after you turn the other way.I did see a kit to repair this problem in ( I think) the NPD catalog. If not try LMC or Mac's.The other options are replacing the switch or remembering to cancel the signal after you turn.

Tony, Mac's , LMC and Dennis Carpenter all list turn signal switches for our trucks.Check prices because they vary.

well i am finding more and more PO changes as i tear down, but nothing major.
update-i found alot of surface rust in the door after i took the door panels off. its because there is no fuzzies or rubber to keep the rain out of the door and the truck sat for so long.
here is an inside view of the welded trim holes which i will be drilling out.
carpet which i removed
only found little rust on drivers floor pan
i should have another update at the end of this weekend. we are going to the junkyard to hopefully pick up a bench seat that was there which only had one small tear, but it was green. so i will re-upholster it.

re: 69 F100 Ranger project update 11/22
i just did some thanksgiving shopping and picked up this at the junkyard. it only has one small scuffed up section on the drivers side. Since its not in bad shape, i wont have to tear it apart and refoam it, ill just get a NPD 180$ cover.
wont be put in for a long time, but i cant wait until it does go in

woohoo
i got a compressor, air nossel, impact gun, air ratchet, and accesories primairly to take fenders/everything else off the the 69 and to paint the trucks. i havent even gotten a chance to use it yet . but i will tomorrow. im sure ill find plenty of stuff to take apart.
anyways,
i havent gotten any work done to the 69 this week because im working off the truck every day (perfectly fine with that, its actually fun and interesting and i learn lots of welding/metal stuff).
I talked to the PO's daughter about the paint and stuff and she said she would look for pictures of the truck when they got it. im really looking forward to seeing those pictures! I also found out some history, like the story of how the truck once was stolen and the police then found it.
this weekend i should have a good amount of work done to the truck.
well thats it. i will ask if i can borrow the pictures of the truck when it was new so i can scan them and put them on here so all of you can see. she did confirm the "baby blue" (sky view blue) and white colors but didnt know where they were on the truck.
thats it for now
