Amber Dietz light on front fender

Where does the amber Dietz light on the front fender connect? I can't seem to find where the wire splices. I don't want to cut it, the splice would be a possible source of problems later. I need to get the fenders off, and want to put the lights back on the new ones. It was dark when i was finishing up last night, so I have the fender leaning against the side of the truck, wire still attached. Any ideas?

The wires from the marker light goes thru the inner fender. The connection is made in the engine compartment. A bullet connector connects the power and a ground ring to the inner fender picks up the ground. You'll see it when it's light outside.
