dual shocks in fornt and dual steering stabilizers
i know this is not a bump but im hoping i can get some help here so here we go....yes im looking for a kit to put dual steering stabilizers on my 76 f250 4x4. i was told that i cld have some mounts custom made for the dual shocks. but that no one makes dual steering stabilizer and its not possible to fab up is that true. the only problem i see with the dual shocks is on the DS it has the high pressure lines for the steering and the mounts will have to be made to go around them .......

Re: dual shocks in fornt and dual steering stabilizers
Im pretty possitive that NPD makes a dual steering stabilizer kit. I know for a fact they make the bracket mounting kit for a 1970 f100 dual stabilizer. They have other year magazines, i don't know if they have it for a '76, check 'em out.

Re: dual shocks in fornt and dual steering stabilizers
Dual shocks are totally redundant and non-functional for most any on the road application with todays shock technology. Good single shocks are all thats needed.
Also, using a steering stabilizer with power assist steering is a total waste. The power assist ram itself is the best steering shock absorber you could ever hope for.

dual shocks look purdy in all the 4x4 magazines but are completely unnecessary.

Re: dual shocks in fornt and dual steering stabilizers
Their just for looks anymore. Like dustin said Todays technology pretty much eliminates the needs for duals. And the power ram assits sterring wont need a stabilizer but if you have actually power steering with a pump, A single will work fine unless your trying to turn 44" boggers, then duals wouldnt be a bad idea. But one Stabilizer would be fine. And to answer your question, i do believe NPD sells dual stabilizer kits
