Looking good. If that engine looks as good as it sounds then I bet its killer.

Re: Restoration Progress
With a mild torque cam, and those tuned headers dumping into 2 1/2 " tubes and out through flowmasters and out the back to a pair of 3"x 18" stainless tips, I tell you it sounds like a 390 and winds like a boss 302.

Re: Restoration Progress
Nice Build!
That is one of the best looking 4x4's I have seen. Got a few questions seeing how I am in parts hunting mode, the belt system and pully's for the motor where did you get them? And than the Disks on the rear same question. Thanks for posting the pictures this is almost identical to what I want to do to my truck! Great motivational piece for me!

Re: Restoration Progress
Oh.. And another question I keep looking at your pics and seeing other things I want to attempt on mine. Your fan coil and setup what did you use for that.
Thanks Again

Re: Restoration Progress
Hi Billy,
First let me thank you for your service to our country, it is you and others like you that make all of us in this country feel safe from those that want to destroy our way of life.
Ok, the serpentine conversion came from March Performance in Naples, Fl. high quality parts that fit right. the conversion can be bought from Jeg's. The disc brake conversion came from Wild Horses a Bronco dealer, all parts are factory new and fit as expected. The power brake booster and master came from hotrodworldwide.com you must use a unit for 4wheel disc brakes. No valves needed in the system.
The cooling fan is a Flex-A lite 180 from jeg's or summit, 3300 cfm.
Thank you for your interest, any other questions, I will be glad to answer.
Thanks,
Fred...

Re: Restoration Progress
Thanks for the response on my questions, again you have a good looking truck! Looking at where your from your about 2 hours north of me, maybe one of these days I will see that ride at a show! And hopefully one day mine can sit next to it and not be to embarrassed. I haven't had a chance to look up anything yet getting ready to do so after I type this. Look forward to seeing the finished product!
