my 3 NEW FIRE TRUCKS

Post by 1971fordcustom »

Well the VFD im on had 3 old trucks they was wanting to sell, two of them was Free to the FireDep't but we did not ever use them. Well they took bids on the trucks! Well I just happen to have the highest bid! ALL FIRETRUCKS

#1 truck is a 1960 FORD F-750 Has a 305 Yblock, 2 speed rearend! 36000 Miles Its still a good firetruck!

FREE #2 is a 1957-1962 IH R-185, It has 35000 Miles. Has a 501 6cyl Engine! Stll a working firetruck.

FREE #3 is a 1960s GMC 6000! Its not so good! Its just a tanker truck!

I got them for 1200$ for all 3! All run and drive but the IH and GMC don't stop! LOL drove the IH 4 miles to my house withmy redlights on and no brakes, Still need to get the GMC the ford is still inside the firehouse 2 miles down the road!

Sounds like you need to raise a pole barn and keep them in storage. Good score.
