Re: 1969 F250 Ranger Project
Found a bed locally... $75
One of the guys at the local you-pick scrap-yard gave me a couple of places to check out, and I hit a jackpot last night, sitting on a wood pile in an elderly man's barn. 1969 (or '70 - he wasn't sure on the year) long-bed, factory white, complete with chrome trim-work, lights, reflectors, in-bed spare mount, and Ranger-badges... still no tailgate, but it has minimal surface rust (one rust hole in the middle of the bed about the size of a golf ball) and dents exist only on the wheel-wells.
The rest of the truck is long since gone, but he held onto the bed like many of us do I'll be picking it up this weekend (hopefully), and roll it into my storage until I can get some time to prep it for painting and install this Spring.
