Just bought a 72 F100 LWB!!

Hey everyone... this is my first post, and this is also my first old truck. It's a 72 f100 lwb automatic 360 v8

I needed a truck to do local mattress deliveries a few times per week and I was looking at a 98 f150 but then a buddy called me to look at this 72 f100 and I fell in love. It has an exhaust leak at the doughnut, the horn doesn't work, the light switch is "touchy" and it needs floor pans.

Tomorrow I am going to drop it off at a muffler shop to get the exhaust leak taken care of. I can handle the horn and light switch myself. For now, I'm going to put plywood or maybe screw on some metal as a temporary fix for the floor pans.

The po recently had the camshaft/lifters replaced, and the breaks done. It has a new gas tank and a new radiator. He also put a Holley 2 barrel carburetor on which my buddy says to ditch, but I kind of think it's cool.

This is my first old v8 and the amount of power is crazy to me... my daily driver is a 97 e150 v6.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself because I know I'll have some questions.
