In the Entertainment section of last Friday's newspaper, there were actually TWO reviews of 'Gran Torino'. One discussed the movie itself, while the other (on the next page) talked about the car. I scanned both for your reading pleasure. :D

Man, I cant believe the LA times talkin' all that smack about the car. I happen to like that body style of Torino. As far as im concerned, the Torino is one of the few cars Ford made that "didnt get ugly". Even the later ones could be done up & made halfway slick looking. Remember Starsky & Hutch???

Plus they were offered with a slew of different powerplants, including the 385 series motors, so thats a plus....

Yeah, the movie made me miss my '72. The '72's were neat because they were one year only! Technically, the '73's were also. The '74-'76 was alright on its own, but Zebra 3 made it totally awesome! This trip down memory lane makes me want to post a picture.

I could probably make my f100 custom into a replica of the truck from the movie. they are very similar.
