Struggling to post pics on a forum.

I've tried and tried to post pics on forum replies but I can not figure it out. I consider myself to be pretty computer savy, but I just can't do it. I have a photo bucket account. Are there any directions on how to post pics? I use the Img button and then what do I insert? Is there more to it than that?

the way i do it is open photobucket in another tab, find your pic, underneath it there are different links you can click, click where it says 'img code' thats like copying it. then just paste it into the message. i dont use the img button on the message, just paste it

after you click the img option on the photobucket pic come back to your message tab and place your cursor were you want the image to appear and hold Ctrl and hit v that how i post mine.

That's all that it does. There are 4 different links under each picture on my photobucket and they all come out the same once I post them here in a post. The particular link above is the "IMG Code". Maybe I'm just not meant to post pics

Well, I'm surprised but it seems that the IMG code is case sensitive (must be something with the new software...) Change it to lower case img and it should work.

The tags that allow you to format data in your post are called 'BBCodes'. BBCodes are enabled by default, but you CAN disable them....which only means that you won't be able to post in bold, italic, add links.....or add any embedded pictures. You've got the BBCodes disabled, as shown in this screenshot of your last post:



Simply uncheck that box and then repost that link with the [img] tags, and it should work just fine.
