Stupid Question: How to remove rear drums

Post by oldschoolrods »

Ok stupid stupid stupid question but I'm stumped. How the H#*( do you get the rear drums off. My 69 has 8 bolts on a hub type thing infront of the drum. I've tried taking those 8 bolts off but nothing comes off. How does this set up work? Please help before i get out the grinder.

Take those 8 bolts out..slide the axle shaft out... there a big nut holding the drum on (youll see it when you pull the axle shaft out) then pull the drum off let me know how it goes maybe I can get some pics for you
