Paint color question.

Post by slopjockey »

Hey guys. I have a 67 three-tree 240 plain jane. It is a green color that I can`t match any where. The V I N tag for the color code is blank. I`ve looked at the paint samples on this web site, and can`t find any that match. However, the new `05 mustang is offerd in a very similar color called "Legacy Lime". This is the original color, it`s in good shape and not faded. What is it? It`s not bad, but it`s no Holly Green!
I love the smell of an old truck in the morning.

The blank color code means it was a special order. Should have a number in the DSO. You could order any color, not stuck with the standard truck colors. Try matching the color with www.autocolorlibrary.com and look at the car colors.

"Are you gonna make it all 220?"
"Yeah 220, 221, whatever it takes."

look at the later year paint sheets...there are some greens on there (look at the 1970 ditzler chart) that are closer to that mustang color..do you have a picture of the truck?
The Landlord: "Are you guys starting an automobile repair shop out of my house or something?"

"No, these are all our cars."

"The three of you have eleven cars???"
