Archives?
What are the archives? Are they just good topics that wanted to be kept for later reference? How does a topic get put in to the archives? Are they just old topics and what not? Just makes me wonder why those topics are in there and why we cant comment on them.

Yes, those sub-forums are meant to house the forum threads that are deemed worth saving. Occasionally the mods and/or myself will be pruning each of the forums to eliminate topics which are no longer necessary or of any value and saving topics that are, by moving them into the archives to prevent them from being lost in the future. It's been a while since I've done any manual pruning, but it's getting close to the time for me to start doing so again.
