Stock Exhaust Manifold

Post by Jimbo »

I have 69 F100 CC with a 302 I have a crack in the manifold right at the first bolt goes in. Does anyone know where I can get another one. I hear headers are not good for ford starters. If I have to go to headers is there a wrap that I can put on the headers to keep the heat down? Thank you for any help.

lmc truck and obsolete ford have them .....dennis carpenter may have them but they like stuff that is molded better although they are about to come out with window regulators for our trucks. I don't know if I helped much but the links are:

those manifolds are a dime a dozen in the scrapyard. I'll bet you can get a set out of the scrap yard for $10. However, headers are nice. I havent tried too hard to find a set. Good luck!

When looking for a set of Headers contact the Manufacturer and see what they say about it.

If you get some Heaaders that are close the Starter then use the Wrap the Headers and get a Sheild for it and go...Cost about $30.00 altogether.I done this before and had No problems
