The Blasphemous 1968 Fordillac

Post by kilog55 »

need to take the cap off as well as the home made side steps...which whatever hit it also damaged the stake pocket support cause the PO bolted it into them, kinda sucks but anyone know what color this may be? i see the one pic on the forum header is the same or very close in color with a white roof.

I am a fan of the high performance mod with the air cleaner cover flipped over.

Cadillac, motor----why not?....

Those door panels are homemade---not bad really...The black and chrome trim piece was about an inch and a half bigger all the way around than the padded or metal door panel that came from the factory...
This is the point...I'm....talking about everybody! I'm talking about form! I'm talking about content! I'm talking about interrelationships! I'm talking about God, the devil, hell, heaven!!!! Do you understand???? Finally!!!!

i see, this is originally a cali truck, going by the stuff left in the truck like ins cards etc the PO had a 74 DeVille im guessing this motor is out of that car, since the 472 was the standard motor for that car it also had the turbo 400 trans, but it definitely doesnt sound like a ford :(.

plan on doing the motor up and possibly dropping the truck if i can find the right 8 lug wheels

makes me wonder whats under the tweed on the panels, probly steel id imagine

I like the battery center console. Nice touch!

so far its been reliable, the PPO drove it from cali to here, the exhaust manifold to steering box clearance isnt the best its pretty close to touching, hoping a set of headers will cure that.

A local guy here has been running a wicked 500+ inch caddy in a Dent side for years. He uses 460 headers with some kind of exhaust flanges welded on. These Caddy's make killer street power.
