Dome Light Switch

Post by mike_68 »

I need to add a dome light switch to my 68. I see the dome light switch available at the usual places, but I don't see the bracket that holds the switch in place available anywhere. (see pic)

Can you point me to where I can buy one, or sell me an extra that you have?

The dome light is controlled manually from the light switch. Turn till the switch clicks and dome light should have power. The contact is on the end of the rheostat (which controls the dash light brightness). The door switches power the light automatically. I have a couple brackets out of the '70 cab, if you are interested and the wiring harness. I see the wiring harnesses with switches, brackets, etc. on eBay occasionally.
