Torque Wrench Calibration?

Post by colnago »

Where would I go to get my torque wrench calibrated? I have the kind that you dial in the ft-lbs, and it clicks when it gets there (Husky, from Home Depot).

Thanks,

You can do it yourself with weights , a bench vise. & some wire to make a harness for the weights... But it can be a hassle if you are not equipped...I have done it myself, but it is easier to get your Snap-on man to get it done for you...Donnie

If you do not want to go through Snappy, there are a number of small calibration companies out there which work on a variety of calibrated equipment. I would do a google search for your area.

Snap on wont calibrate anything but thier own torque wrench. I tried to get them to do a large PROTO unit I have. There is a company in north dakota called TEAM TORQUE. they calibrate anything for 45 bucks.
