For swap purposes, all of the frames are basically the same. F250 frame may be beefier, but the actual work required isn't really any different. Its the other parts you would be getting that are what you need to look at. Do you want leaf springs up front, or coil springs and radius arms? Do you want 5-lug axles and a 9" rear, or 8 lug axles and a d60 rear? Transmissions and transfercases are easy enough to swap around. You will just have to get the crossmember to go with it. Married tcases are the way to go, in my opinion. Keeps everything tighter together, and gives you 2 less u-joints and 1 less crossmember you need to worry about. In your original post, you said you wanted a SWB. If you can find one, a 78-79 SWB 4x4 with all the suspension/axles still there is the way to go. I'd recommend pulling the front and rear suspension apart no matter what though, so you can replace all the bushings while it is easy.
