1970/71/72 woodgrain panel -- seem fishy?

Post by JJS72XLT »

Hmmmm. Does this seem fishy to anyone?

Above listing "sold" on May 16, 2013. Seller is "carloscar" in Anaheim, CA.

THEN, "carloscar" lists again what appears to be the SAME item in a currently active listing....although possible they had more than one -- given rarity of the panel it seems quite odd.

If you read his feedback, he has sold a lot of grills for different vehicles. everyone has their own little corner of a market...

If buyer did not pay, then he relists. Not fishy with the item's asking price.

I do wonder though if a schill is in the mix. Someone bidding to just raise the price then not buying.

I know carloscar personally, I know what he sells and what he buys. I currently have two tailgate panels that I scored on in one day. While these are rare and hard to find, they are out there.
Before you bash someone be sure you know what your talking about. I can vouch for Carl and his parts. He and I have been selling parts for awhile.
So JJS72XLT why are you skeptical?
I sell grilles all polished, each grille looks the same would you think I was selling the same grille over and over for the past 8 years?
People like you start rumors because you do not research, and as was pointed out "read feedback"
