Either the vent for the rearend or the rubber brake line. Did you climb under there and look?

I concur.

I'm 520 miles from my truck but IIRC they connect at nearly the same spot.

Whats all the white crap? :hmm: It was 88 degrees here in Hurrican alley today.

Nothing will happen if it is not attached, if you stay out of water that is deeper than the vent. It is best to have one just for safe measures.

If it is ripped off at the vent fitting. Might as well buy a new piece of rubber hose equal in lenth and replace the old one. Don't forget to get a new clamp. The original clamp you will have to brake off to get the rest of the old hose off.
