lowering leaf springs

Post by F-100Ranger »

Has anyone used, or know anyone who has used, the rear leaf drop springs offered by some of the parts catalogs? I want to drop the rear by two inches.

I already prepped and painted my frame and don't want to take off and replace the front leaf spring mounts with lowering ones unless I really have to.

Thanks in advance for any info you all can supply.

You will be money ahead and have less hassles with the drop hangers,if you want lowering leafs take yours to a spring shop and have them de arched or stiffer springs with less leafs, those so called lowering springs are a one size fit all so you can guess how that will work.

Thanks dragtruck. Why can't these project trucks finish themselves?

You can also get a flip kit and you can keep your stock leaf springs.
