Parts needed for engine swap

Post by stink bear »

Hello,
Looking for help with figuring out what parts I need to do an engine swap so I can start working on collecting them.
The truck is a 72 F100 4X4, 240/6, NP435.
The donor engine is a 302 out of a 77(?) truck with an automatic.
I have engine mount perches out of a 79 F150 that had a 351M. I believe I will have to weld them in but they should work.
I believe the bellhousing from the 240/6 should work.
I'm pretty sure I need a 28 oz imbalance flywheel, but I don't know about the number of teeth.
Will the block plate that's currently in the truck work?
Will the clutch and pressure plate from the 240/6 work?
Will the starter out of the 240/6 work?
I think the radiator will work, it looks like the inlet and outlet are in the right places.
Is there anything else anyone can think of that I will need?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!
