1969 f100 dana 60 axle flip

I will be doing the cv ifs.
For the rear I was looking at doing the axle flip moving to the top of the springs and a c notch. I currently have 9" from the top of the dana 60 pumpkin to the bottom of the bed. Looks like the axle flip lowers truck 5-6 inches which will only leave 3" from dana 60 to bottom of the bed. How much do I need? I do not want to cut into bed and want a decent ride. I am trying to keep the dana 60 but understand may need to do something different.

Memory serves me right BobbyFord was one of the first I saw do this, (believe he used a Dana 60 on his flip). :hmm:
Try reaching out to him as he doesn't seem to post here much anymore.
