Rear bumper

Post by mbloes »

I'm looking for a rear bumper for my 69 F100.

I would take either a styleside or a step.

The styleside would have to be pretty good - straight and pretty good chrome (not painted).

Step just needs to be straight as I can strip and paint it.

Finally, it needs to be shipped to Los Angeles (I can drive pretty far from LA to pick it up though).

Thanks

I've got a couple of the step bumpers. They are straight, one is sandblasted and epoxy sealed, the other is in the original silver paint. I can post pictures this afternoon if you're interested. Shipping would be ridiculous, just so you know. I'm in Idaho.

Busboy and chico, I PM'd you but maybe you didn't get them so I'll also reply here.

Busboy: I would take the painted bumper. Can you do the homework on the shipping cost? Also, would love to see pics. Thanks

Chico: I am in Los Angeles, specifically, Pasadena.

Thanks to both of you if you can help me out.

It costs 100.00 to ship a plastic fan shroud to west virginia. The shipping cost for a rear step bumper would be astronomical, even to California from Idaho. Are you willing to drive to Boise Idaho?

Busboy, I appreciate it and I would anticipate shipping to be about $100.00. I'm kind of out of leads as I don't want a "new" bumper from the usual suspects.

Totally, whatever effort you want to put into it will be VERY appreciated by me. Of course, if it's too much trouble, I understand and that's cool too.

Let me know (by PM).

Thanks again.
