I'm having a hard time finding a hood for my 68 F250. The front section of the hood has rusted bad and seperated from the rest of the hood. I was wondering if anyone would knew if a 73-79 hood would fit until I can find the correct one. Any information would helpful. Bob 68

It's easier to say the dent era hood won't work, (than to describe all that's detailed to make one fit).
The first noticeable difference is that the hood latch is on the radiator support on the dent hood, (rather than it being on the hood itself like our bumps). And yes, a decent hood is like finding "hens teeth" as they all rusted at the front area.
