Back with a F600 project

Post by OldRedFord »

Looks like i haven't been logged in here since 2016.

I won a 1967 F600 at a local auction this past week. Been sittimg for a undetermined period of time. Sticker on the tag is from 2008.

He's a 300 I6 and 4 speed trans. Single speed rear with 6.20 gear. Two piece wheels all around. Under cab brake booster and I noticed each side of the rear axle has two wheel cylinders.

Hope is to turn it into a driveable truck and swap to a automatic.

Currently have penetrating oil soaking in the engine cylinders. Slowly starting to free up. I do have a spare 300 on hand.

Id also like to have a dual master cylinder brake system. Hydroboost if I can make that happen.

Odometer shows 68,850 miles. Judging by the condition of the interior that may be true.

19,500 GVWR and 131 inch wheel base.
